I had to create two smaller apartments from a 100 m2 apartment in a condominium in Budapest. The Client’s request was to have a reasonable sized bath and bedroom in both apartments, and the living room and kitchen should be in one space. It wasn’t easy, because the rooms were defined by the existing windows, so I needed all my design skills not to make too much compromises. The apartment was in very bad condition, crumbling, moldy walls, broken parquet.
