My clients, a middle-aged couple, commissioned me to design the lighting of the living room, kitchen and dining area of their new condominium, which is still under construction. The goal was to have each function properly lit, with recessed and suspended lamps, and space for two open cabinets in the two corners of the dining room.
The various functions were “marked” by plasterboard ceilings; the dining room wall was given a pleasant, fashionable bluish-green colour, and I could find space for the two cabinets as well. The latter ones have glass doors and interior lighting, so they can be used as a pleasant mood lights.
I designed LED panels for the ceiling, which are energy efficient and fit well in the white ceiling.
