There was one who could create shadow figures from a piece of paper with a single cut; there was a furniture manufacturer in Berlin, a lamp factory owner in France, a chocolate producer in Argentina. My grandfather on my father\u2019s side was a furniture carpenter; my grandfather on my mother\u2019s side made shoe uppers; and both of my grandmothers were seamstresses.<\/p>\n<p>When I was a child everybody was creating something around me. It was inevitable that it would stick to me as well. I&#8217;ve always liked to make, knit, crochet, batik, sew, or even make bonbons. I enjoy every phase of creation, from concept to design, through to implementation. I love to design &#8211; I could do that day and night. When I&#8217;m not making designs I&#8217;m looking for new, practical solutions, new fabrics and materials; I\u2019m reading different websites, checking the latest trends, going to exhibitions or product launches and visiting factories. During my travels I like to take photos of all kinds of beauty, observe squares and buildings. These impulses and inspirations come up at the right moment of my design work.<\/p>\n<p>I prefer to avoid home decoration clich\u00e9s; if possible, I bring solutions that are different from the usual ones.
